Made it all the way up to Cathedral Rock just in time for sunset. Managed to snap these photos before my phone died AND made it back down before it got too dark 😅 short but steep hike with a fun sandstone crack to shimmy up and back down. @christoph

A holiday weekend after the big election seemed like the perfect opportunity to escape to the Grand Canyon, so we did. Blake had never been, and it was also Indy’s 11th bday, so I took them to my favorite spot (IYKYK). Had an amazing time at the APCG Conference in Arcata, CA this past weekend. I had the opportunity to present my first solo poster in GIS on the spatial analysis of liquefaction zones and economic disparity in Los Angeles County. Also had some wonderful interactions, met some amazing people, and attended some really great presentations. Most of all I was proud to help represent @pcc_geography at such an intimate conference. BIG thanks to Professors Presiado, Agredano, Wallace, and White for all of the support and guidance that went into this and also to APCG for the opportunity, food, and travel grant!
